Those who are unwell or at high risk due to compromised immune or respiratory system
should not attend Mass; those over 70 should exercise particular caution.
If you have symptoms, get tested at a COVID-19 clinic.
Symptoms include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, shortness of breath,
loss of taste or smell. Self-isolate until you get your results.
If you need advice or have questions, call the
National Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080.
Bishop Greg has advised that the faithful are dispensed from attending Sunday Mass.
Sunday can be kept holy by setting aside some time for prayer at home,
reading the Scriptures of the day, watching Mass on television or online, and asking
God for the graces you would normally receive in Holy Communion.
Each one of us can make a difference to slowing the spread of the
virus by staying 1.5 metres away from others and frequently washing our hands.
Please note that during this time of pandemic, for your safety and the safety of others,
it is mandatory to wear a mask at Mass, and at any time when
it is difficult to maintain 1.5 metres of physical distance from others.
